We have two quarries in Zaafarana at Red
Sea Cost north Hurgada with 215 Km x 3 Km in area |
| The
experimental section in Murano ( Italy ) has collected
and analyzed the samples all over the quarry. |

Quartz |
|
Quartz is the most common mineral on
the face of the Earth . It is found in nearly every
geological environment and is at least a component of
almost every rock type. It frequently is primary mineral
> 98 %. It is also the most varied in terms of varieties
, colors and forms. This variety comes about because of
the abundance and widespread distribution of Quartz. A
collector could easily have hundred of Quartz specimens
and not have two that are the same due to the many broad
categories. |

Quartz is one of the main source of
Silicon Metal.
We have two concessions of
about 13.5 m.t. One of them is Marwat Alsiwagat ( 4.5
m.t. ) of high purity quartz.
The company has scientific co-operation with ELKEM (
Norway ) and DAM ( France in these two concession ;
studying , mapping , collecting samples and analysis,

Feldspar |
The Feldspar group is a
fairly large group with nearly 20 members recognized ,
but only nine are well known and common. Those few ,
however , make up the greatest percentage around % 60 of
minerals found in the Earth's Crust.
Feldspar is an Alumna Silicate containing K , Na or Ca.
Industrially there are two main types of Feldspar ( Na –
Spar ) with Na2O ranged from % 8 – 11 . |
